Les Portes A.R.D. Inc. warranty

Les Portes A.R.D. Inc. guaranteed its products against any defect or manufacture for one year on the parts and labour and this, starting from the date of invoicing. After this one year deadline, our responsibility, will be limited to the specific value of the product.

The bumps or scratches will have to be announced to us in the 48 hours following the reception and this before the installation, without what you will not be able to place a service call for replacement.

This guarantee does not apply to the defects caused by a bad installation, an improper use or following damage made during the transport.

No return of credit will be made without a preliminary authorization of the direction of "Les Portes A.R.D.".

For any return of defective material, there will be inspection of the material by the supplier. The credit will be carried out immediately after the reception of the credit from the supplier.

N.B.: ANY MODIFICATION MADE TO OUR PRODUCT WILL AUTOMATICALLY INVOLVE THE CANCELLATION OF OUR GUARANTEE.

Warranty of PVC windows

Extrusions of PVC are guaranteed against any defect of material and manufacture for a period of twenty (20) years.

The panels of sealed glass are guaranteed for a period of five (5) years for clear glass and ten (10) years for Low'e Argon and this, against any possible defect. Interior thermal breaking are guaranteed for a period of one (1) year. All the manufacturing defect, unperceivable with your eyes on glass or the moulding and that with less than one meter or 3' in the fields of vision, will not be regarded as defects. If the imperfections are visible and acceptable, the material will be replaced.

Hardware has a ten (10) years guarantee, against any type of breaking having been made under normal conditions of use. This guaranted does not apply to oxidation, discolouration, polished nor with finished hardware. This guarantee does not cover and expressly excludes the defects connected to corrosion if hardware is used in a corrosive environment.

Warranty on thermos sliding windows

Thermal breaking int he thermos sliding window are not guaranteed. For any other defect in the panel of sealed glass,you must refer to the guarantee of PVC window.

The window of foundation is not guaranteed at the time of the installation of the concrete in the event of collapse.

Routing a service call, please contact the retailer where you made the purchase of our products. This retailer will send us a request and we will treat the application.

Warranty of doors

During the first year, weather stripping, sill break, sweep, vinyl cladding and hinges will be replaced only if no abuse or bad installation were noted.

Aluminium storm doors installed with steel doors are not covered by our guarantee.

A warping until 1/4" is not considered as a manufacturing defect.

Warranty of glasses

None of the suppliers guarantee thermal breaking.

All the unperceivable manufacturing defects with your eyes on glass or the moulding and that with less than one meter or 3' in the fields of vision, will not be regarded as defects. If the imperfections are visible and acceptable, the material will be replaced.
