SPECIFIC WARRANTY - PAINT

• The paint applied to the product is covered by warranty to the original buyer for a period of ten (10) years at a decreasing rate (10% per year). Some normal damages, such as wear around door handles and yellowing due to the use of certain cleaning products such as "Fantastik, Spic and Span, Comet" or thinner are not covered by the warranty. (Use soapy water only).
  
  
• Labour is under warranty for a period of one (1) year, after which it will become the customer's responsibility.
  
  
• Paint on PVC parts (mouldings on thermos doors or other) is under warranty for a period of one (1) year from the invoice date. Said warranty does not cover product warping.
  
  
• Scratches, bumps or marks must be reported upon reception of merchandise, and doors must not, under any circumstances whatsoever, be installed in order to be covered by the warranty.
  
  
• A storm door installed with a steel door automatically revokes all warranties.
  
  
• Remove the protective plastic bag from the door immediately following installation to avoid a greenhouse effect that could create problems, such as paint chipping, PVC moulding warping, etc.
  
  
• Samples from the colour chart are very close to the finished product. However, due to lighting effect, time and printing, we cannot guarantee that the colour will be identical to the sample. (Variance up to 10% is considered normal.)
  
  
• This warranty excludes colour variances between products painted by a supplier other than Portes A.R.D. due to the base and pigments varying from one supplier to the other.
